Hourly Rates and Billing<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our hourly rate is always the same when you choose any of us as your representative or legal counsel: SEK 2,033 per hour (2026). We apply the legal aid tariff determined by the National Courts Administration. Where applicable, an additional cost for travel and waiting time, known as time wastage, is charged at SEK 1,859 per hour (2026), for instance in connection with travel to and from court. Invoicing is conducted on an ongoing basis.<\/p>

When we draft documents such as wills or cohabitation agreements, we also have an hourly fee. The price for the document, including prior consultation and information exchange, is usually from SEK 3,400 including VAT.<\/p>

We are unable to provide a set price in advance for a specific case, as it depends on how much work is needed to assist you throughout the process.<\/p>

Legal aid and legal expenses insurance<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We assist in applying for legal expenses insurance from your insurance company or legal aid from the state. In certain cases, you can receive assistance with the costs from either your insurance provider or the state.<\/p>

Financial Aid from Your Insurance<\/h4>

It is important that you, as a client, provide information so that the application for financial aid is complete. You must provide information regarding which insurance company holds your home insurance and ideally how long you have been insured with the same company.<\/p>

Legal Aid from the State<\/h4>

For legal aid \u2013 that is, in cases where insurance does not exist or cannot be used \u2013 we fill\nout the application form together during our first meeting. The first hour of consultation is\ncharged immediately, and thereafter the legal aid fee is billed continuously. Your fee is\nbetween 2 and 40% of the cost, depending on your income. There is a limit that prevents\nhigh-income earners who do not have large debts or extensive maintenance obligations to\nchildren from being granted legal aid.<\/p>

Advance Payment<\/h4>

If financial aid or legal aid is denied, you, as the client, is liable for the full cost. In\nsuch cases, we reserve the right to request an advance payment of the fee and then issue\npartial invoices at regular intervals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The state always covers the cost of a plaintiff\u2019 counsel's work, as well as when we are your lawyers in LVU, LVM, and LPT. For public defenders, the obligation to pay debends on your income and only applies if you are convicted of a crime.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
